 Chase Taylor is the hard-luck, hard-drinking private detective and alter ego of actor and Mystery Café founder Lee H. Adams.

Adams brings his three decades as an actor, stand-up comedian and accomplished playwright to a hilarious performance, in what The Minneapolis Star Tribune called “The delightful guise of Chase Taylor."

As in all three Chase Taylor Mysteries, Adams alternates at frenetic pace, between sharp comedic dialogue with the other characters, and spontaneous philosophical monologues that have the audience gasping for breath from laughter. His is truly a comedic style not seen anywhere else. It has been described as part Guy Noir, part George Carlin and part Jerry Lewis.

And now after more than 500 performances and two years, Chase Taylor returns to the Twin Cities (together with three 15-year Mystery Café veterans) in “A Man in Pajamas” at the luxurious Marriott West.
